This is one of the best medical experiences I have ever had. Dr. Boyett is very kind and treats patients like equals. He doesn't fat shame or make you feel like a bad person because you need bariatric surgery. His staff is amazing. I have had to call a couple times and they always respond to my messages with urgency. I wish i could go to them for everything. After 20 years of marriage, (and a divorce) after raising three children; I found that I was disconnected from taking care of my own self. I tried diet and exercise, and it continued to be a roller coaster ride. After much research, I decided Doctor Boyett was a good fit for my future goals.  I was not disappointed! I've attached my before and after photos. And only wish that I had kept more of my before photos to show the progress. I started my journey at 330bs (2020), had the gastric sleeve in Feb. 2021 and are currently 239 lbs (6.2 tall). Myself and best-friend decided to do this thing together and Doctor Boyette has been a godsend on our journey to a healthier living lifestyle. I love his "frank" bedside manner and have no regrets... Zero... No more high blood-pressure, cholesterol or CPap Machines.  I highly recommend he, and his staff for your weight-loss journey as well! December 7, 2021 was the day I got a second chance at a healthy life. Before that day I thought I was living life but I slowly realized I was just surviving. I had decided I was going to have the gastric sleeve with Dr. Daniel Boyett after much research.  Prior to the surgery I had lost 20 lbs but was at a standstill and had always struggled with my weight and thyroid issues. I always wanted to be an adventurous person but at over 295 pounds, the scale determined what you I could do. It’s ironic how the simple things in life the average size person takes for granted because they do not understand the life of a heavy set person. Prime example is being treated like a “normal person” rather than a fat person. I didn’t want to believe that people in fact treated me differently but the more weight I lost the nicer and more accepting people became to me. I’ve lost 101.5 pounds in 7 months and for the first time in my life the number on the scale isn’t stopping me from doing anything I have always dreamed of doing. Because of my second opportunity at a new life, the tools Dr. Boyett and his staff has given me with this surgery, I have my life on track. I’m no longer on blood pressure medications and I no longer have to sleep with a C-PAP machine.  I no longer have pain in my feet, knees and back, which prior to surgery made me feel as though it was disabling. My energy is through the roof and I’ve never felt better mentally, physically, and emotionally. I went from a 2-3X to a size M/L in tops and from a 20-22 in pants to a 10/12. I could never thank Dr. Boyett and his team enough for all their support and nutritional education. It’s taken my hard work and dedication but without this tool and support he’s given me I would have never made it this far. I found Dr. Boyette to be an active listener. He took time to talk with me and discussed everything from my current health issues and the testing and procedures leading up to surgery. I found him to be open an honest. He is Absolutely the best doctor ever. He has changed my life for the better. I’m off all meds and have more energy than I ever thought I would. Dr Daniel Boyett is awesome! Very kind, compassionate and caring doctor. He listens very well and performs great work. I had a hemorrhoidectomy which I dreaded, but he did a great job. I would refer anybody to him! He is a doctor others need to look up to!
